Do you have rooms with balconies, and which room categories provide a balcony?

Junior Suite River View Balcony, Deluxe Suite River View, and Prestige Suite River View offer balconies.

Can standard rooms accommodate 3 people?

No, three people can be accommodated starting from our suite categories.

If I reserve a room with a balcony, is it guaranteed?

Yes, if your confirmation states a room type with river view and balcony, this benefit is guaranteed.

What kind of connecting rooms are available?

The hotel has several rooms that can be connected, creating a private combined entrance hall.

Can I smoke in the room or on the balcony?

Rooms are non smoking, however, you are permitted to smoke on your balcony, providing you keep the door shut and do’nt állow the smoke to enter the room.

What are the costs for breakfast for one person?

The breakfast charge is €49.00 per person.

Is it possible to have an extra bed in the room?

Yes, an extra bed can be provided for €95, including breakfast and excluding city tax.

Do all rooms have a river view?

Not all rooms have a river view, but within all room categories (except the superior category), you can choose ‘river view’ for an additional charge, subject to availability.

Is there a possibility to book connecting rooms?

Yes, the hotel has several rooms that can be connected; please contact our department for bookings.

How do I adjust or cancel my reservation?

To cancel or adjust a reservation, please contact us by email or phone. Cancellation is free of charge if notified by 3 PM, one day (24 hours) prior to the arrival date, excluding non-refundable rates.

Why do I have to provide credit card details?

Guests need to enter credit card information to guarantee their reservation. A prior deposit is not necessary; the credit card will only be charged in case of a late cancellation.

Why do I receive a payment link prior to my stay?

If you booked a non-refundable rate, we send a payment link right after your booking to confirm it. This is because the rate offers a discount but requires immediate payment. Cancellation or modification is not possible without charges. The payment link is valid for 72 hours.

What is the payment policy of De L’Europe?

A credit card guarantee is required for all room reservations. Upon arrival, the card may be pre-authorized for room charges and incidentals, with a maximum pre-authorization of 450 euros. Alternatively, if paying in cash upon arrival, a deposit of room nights plus 150 euros per night (up to 450 euros) is required. The unused portion of the deposit is refunded at checkout. Cash and major credit cards are accepted, with Apple Pay accepted from April 1st in F&B outlets and the hotel.

Can we have an early check-in or late check-out? If yes, what are the extra costs?

This request is based on availability. To guarantee an early check-in, we can book the night prior to the arrival date to ensure guests can access their room early in the morning.

What are the check-in and check-out times at De L’Europe?

The room is available from 3 PM onwards on the day of arrival, and our check-out time is 12 noon on the day of departure. If you wish to arrive earlier or depart later, it is possible to request an early check-in or late check-out based on availability.

Can I leave my luggage while exploring Amsterdam?

It is our pleasure to store the luggage of hotel guests in our locked luggage room before and after their stay, allowing them to explore Amsterdam fully. Please note that no money, valuable papers, securities, objects of value, fragile or perishable items should be included in the stored property. We provide guests with a luggage label upon arrival to facilitate the retrieval of their belongings.

Do you have complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel?

We do not offer complimentary airport shuttle service. However, our concierge department can assist guests in arranging private transportation.

How does work the Valet Parking?

Our doormen are available 24/7 to park your car and assist with any queries. Valet parking is priced at 75 euros per day (overnight), with a starting rate of 30 euros for the first 2 hours. Additional hours are charged at 8 euros per hour, up to a maximum of 75 euros per day. If you prefer self-parking, the Stopera Parking Garage is available..

Do we have to reserve parking in advance?

Parking reservations are only available for hotel guests. Advance notice is appreciated to secure a parking spot.

Do you have parking available for in-house guests and what are the costs?

Parking is available for in-house guests at a cost of 75 euros per car per day.

How can I use public transport to reach the hotel from the airport?

Trains run every 15 minutes between the airport and Amsterdam Central Station. This ride takes 17 minutes and costs 4.60 euro. Train tickets can be arranged at the ticket machines in the Arrival Hall of the airport. From Amsterdam Central Station the most convenient way is to take the brand-new North-South metro line (nr. 52, stop: Rokin) or tram 4 & 24 (stop: Muntplein). The journey from Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel takes 10 minutes, including a 1-minute walk.

What are the costs for bringing a pet?

The cleaning fee for bringing a pet is 65 euros per day per pet.

What is the children policy at De L’Europe Amsterdam?

Breakfast: Children aged 0-3 enjoy breakfast free of charge. For those aged 4-8, breakfast is available for €19.50. Guests aged 9 or older can have breakfast at the regular rate of €45.
Extra Bed: De L’Europe provides an extra bed free of charge for children up to 12 years old.

Is there disability access?

De L’Europe Amsterdam is completely wheelchair-friendly, with four elevators in the hotel, wheelchair access to the spa, and accessible accommodations with wider doors, adjustable sink heights, and handrails. Please mention any accessibility requests in your reservation.

Does De L’Europe offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we can arrange personalized gift vouchers for De L’Europe as well as our venues Bord’Eau, Marie, and Freddy’s. Visit our front office/concierge or contact us to arrange a personalized gift voucher.

What are the opening hours at De L’Europe Amsterdam?

De L’Europe Amsterdam is open 24 hours a day with the reception manned 24/7.
Flore is open Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30 to 10:30 pm. Reservations for Flore are recommended.
Marie serves breakfast daily from 7 am to 11 am, and the brasserie & terrace are open for lunch and dinner daily from 12 pm to 11 pm (weather permitting).
Freddy’s Bar is open daily from 4 pm to 1 am, with live music every Thursday and Friday from 5 pm onwards.
